driving traffic to one’s website

Getting people who matter to see one’s website is a difficult undertaking if he tries to consider the fact that there are rivals everywhere waiting to pin him down.  The immensity of the internet as well as the affiliate marketing world has given birth to the fierce competition between affiliate marketers, each of whom has his own great product to offer.  With all the websites piling on top of each other, how would one be able to stand out?  The seven best ways to drive laser-targeted traffic to one’s own website would help those who are bent on sticking it out with this business wherever it is bound to take them.

The first way in driving traffic to one’s website is by contacting other webmasters for a possible link exchange partnership.  Locating websites that are related to one’s own website is the primary task.  Once there, he should be able to establish communication by personalizing everything as much as possible.  It is then possible to make reciprocal link exchanges between webmasters whichever way the affiliate marketer prefers.

The second step in driving traffic to one’s website is by relying on search engines and what they can do for the affiliate marketer concerned.  Because they are popular for driving free targeted traffic, they should not be ignored by all means.  Having top search engine rankings is vital in building popularity links, and the use of the right keywords is important in attaining this goal.  Once a website is on top of the list, it is easily accessible to anyone who wants to see it for himself.

The third way is through writing one’s own articles.  This is an effective way in promoting a website, because good content that are appreciated by readers will lead them to visit the writer’s very own website out of sheer interest.

The fourth way is through joint venture marketing.  This is one of the most effective ways of promoting a product or a service.  Having a partner through ad swap or link exchange is beneficial to both parties as it allows them to reach a wide customer base in a short amount of time.

The fifth is through joining affiliate programs.  Having affiliates to do the work means allowing them to bring tons of traffic to a website.  Skyrocketing sales would be realized as a result, and both the affiliate and the website owner will benefit from the situation.

The sixth is by having a list of subscribers that one can refer to every so often, because they are those which would prove to be valuable assets for the marketer concerned.  The use of autoresponders and personalized newsletters is one way of keeping track of them all, and holding on to them by letting them know about new products and services is an essential task that should be done by the affiliate marketer concerned.

The seventh is by knowing one’s market through and through.  It is important for traffic to be targeted to those who might have a special interest in the theme or topic of one’s website.  This way, a solid customer base is going to be created.  Once a potential customer shows an interest in a particular website by paying it a visit, one must not waste time in trying to show him that his effort is worth it.

Traffic generating strategies are important in trying to make one’s affiliate marketing career inch forward.  It is always advantageous to plan one’s moves in any business that he might undertake.  This is particularly so in affiliate marketing.  If one knows how to get people to see what he has to offer, then he is on the right track.

promoting residual affiliate program

Are you planning to set up an online business but you still don’t have any product to sell?  If so, affiliate marketing may be the best solution for your problems.  With affiliate marketing, you won’t need to worry about the products you have to sell.  All you need to have is a website with sufficient contents that are related to the products of a certain online company offering affiliate programs.  By becoming a member of the program, or by becoming an affiliate, you can start earning a certain amount of money right away!

In affiliate marketing, an affiliate agrees to direct some traffic to a merchant’s website.  If that traffic is converted into some kind of action, like a visitor purchasing a product on the merchant’s website or a visitor becoming a lead for the company, the affiliate who directed the traffic will be compensated.  Compensation may take the form of either a percentage sales commission for the sales generated or a fixed fee predetermined upon the application of the affiliate on the merchant’s affiliate program.

In fact, almost every merchant or retailer site today offers an affiliate program that any one can join into.  Most retailers would entice people to become affiliates or members of their program by promising great benefits like large commissions, lifetime commissions, click through incomes and a lot of other benefits.  But would all these affiliate programs bring off the same benefits?

Most affiliate programs would pay you a one-time commission for every sale or lead you brought to the merchant’s website.  Commissions for this kind of affiliate programs are usually large, ranging from 15% to a high of about 60%.  Other affiliate programs would pay you a fixed fee for every click through or traffic you send to the merchant’s site.  Programs like this often pay a smaller fee for every click through, usually not getting any larger than half a dollar.  The good thing about this kind of program, however, is that the visitor won’t have to purchase anything in order for the affiliate to get compensated.

Another niche of affiliate program is the residual income affiliate program.  This  pay only a small percentage of sales commission for every sale directed by the affiliate to the merchant’s site.  This commission often comes only in the range of 10% to 20% sales commission.  Because of this, many people ignore residual affiliate program and would rather opt for the high paying one-time commission affiliate program.  Are these people making a mistake, or are they making the right decision?

We can definitely say that they are making a large mistake if they ignore residual affiliate programs.  Residual affiliate programs would indeed pay at a lower rate, but merchants offering such kind of programs would generally pay you regular and ongoing commissions for a single affiliate initiated sale!  That means, for the same effort you made in promoting a particular affiliate program, you get paid only once in a one-time commission program, and a regular and ongoing commission for a residual program!

So, are the benefits of promoting residual affiliate programs clearer to you now?
Suppose there are two online merchants both offering web hosting services on their sites.  The first merchant offers a one-time commission type of affiliate program that pays $80 for every single affiliate initiated sale.  The second merchant also offers an affiliate program, but this time a residual affiliate program that pays only $10 for every single affiliate initiated sale.  As an affiliate, we may get attracted at once at what the first merchant is offering, as $80 is definitely a lot larger than $10.  But by thinking things over before actually getting into them, one may be able to see that the second merchant is offering us more opportunity to earn a larger amount of money.

Supposed you have directed traffic to the merchant and it converted into a sale, you’ll get paid once by the first merchant for the sale you have initiated.  But with the second merchant, you’ll get paid monthly for as long as the customer you have referred to the merchant continues to avail of the web hosting service.  That means that for the same effort of getting one customer to avail of the merchant’s service, you get paid monthly in residual affiliate programs while you only get paid once in a one-time commission type of affiliate programs.

Are residual affiliate programs worth to join?  Definitely yes, because you virtually get more money from these types of affiliate programs in the long run!  And would residual affiliate programs work best for you?  Probably not, probably yes.  It is not really for me to tell.  But with the benefits that residual affiliate marketing can provide, it would really be unwise to ignore such programs.

combining affiliate and adsense to make sense

Affiliate marketing programs are best alternatives to those who are sick and tired of their arduous daily work just to climb up the venerated corporate ladder. You don’t need products to sell, you just have to market them in your own web site and you don’t have to worry about processing the customers’ payments and the shipment of the products. If you are already into affiliate marketing, probably you were thinking about these benefits, too, before deciding to join an affiliate program.

Keep in mind, however, that affiliate marketing cannot guarantee you instant success if you don’t work on it. There are a lot of ways of maximizing your income. The Internet is a huge library of information, use it to learn of other opportunities and ways to increase your income. You can partner with several merchandisers and promote different products in your website; thereby, increasing your chance to earn a commission.

The easiest way for you to rev up your revenue potential is by incorporating Google AdSense into your marketing campaigns. What is Google AdSense? What are its advantages? How can it boost my revenues? These are some of the questions you might want to ask. Let’s try to probe into Google AdSense, so you would know how it could help you in your affiliate marketing program.

Google AdSense program allows you to display these ads in you website and when your visitors click through them, you earn. The advertiser, which is the merchant pays Google for every click-through made by the customer and you as a partner of Google, gets a share from that payment.

What’s great about the Google AdSense is that the ads are relevant to the content of your web page. Most likely, visitors of your web site are interested on the theme of your site and specifically, on the content of your web page. So, seeing ads related to their interest would definitely drive them to click through the link or the ad. Using state-of-the-art technology, Google scans your web site and matches the content of your pages to their large database of advertisers; this way, Google is able to find ads that are targeted by the users of your site. In addition, Google changes the ads in your site as you change the content of your pages, so you can always expect the ads to be relevant to your site.

Having Google ads in your website is also a way of convincing your users to return to your site. Repeat customers multiply your income without having to exert extra effort to convince them again to click through your links. And your potential to earn doesn’t depend on them alone. Since you already have their confidence, they can be your endorsers as well. They could refer your site to family and friends who probably share the same interests with them.

Advertisers in the Google AdSense program range from large international brands to small-time domestic and local businesses, so the targeted market for the ads can range as well. This adds variety to your site; thereby, attracting different kinds of users. As you attract more users, you increase your earning potential as well. If you are targeting a specific nationality for your site users, don’t worry because AdSense can be used in different languages.

To boost your revenues through Google AdSense, you must pay attention to making web pages of high value topics. Make contents related to high-paying ads, so you can earn more. Some ads pay only a few cents while some ads pay you dollars just for a single click. You would need to do a little research on this so you can come up with a more relevant content. Join affiliate marketing forums and get tips from experienced affiliate marketers.

You just have to apply online and once your application is approved, you can instantly set up Google ads in your site. All you need to do is copy and paste some codes in your web pages and in no time the ads will appear in your site.

Take advantage of the favorable circumstances the Internet is offering you. Make the most of your affiliate marketing opportunities, use Google AdSense!

Driving and boosting huge Traffic Using Google Adwords

How does Adwords work? Google comprises the biggest search engine on the web getting over 200 million queries every day through its several services. Since Google is the most favourite search engine today, webmasters are sharp on having their websites reach a higher ranking in the search engine leads it provides. A high ranking could mean high traffic for that website. The search engine results page is as well a extraordinary venue for advertisers to promote a product or service through ads and links. Consequently, Google established its Adwords service, as a way for businesses to advertise products and services to a targeted audience. Google Adwords can assure instant traffic. In this service, Google shows relevant text based ads inside its search engine results page termed as “Sponsored Links”. Whenever a specific keyword is searched on, these relevant links come out in a separate section giving excellent exposure to the sites listed.

The success from any website doesn’t trust entirely on the site itself. You might have a fantastic idea for a website, offer an first-class merchandise or service, or have an exceptionally planned site with superior content, simply if you don’t apply the proper strategies to advertise, your site would not draw the high traffic you require. Appealing targeted traffic is a job that had better be taken severely for any site to succeed or have a income. Fortunately, there is internet-marketing tools that assist the website marketer to drive traffic to his website. Among the most important, and effective, of these tools is Google’s Adwords. Adwords is one of Google’s advertising services.

How do you use Google Adwords? First of all, you have to open an account with the Google Adwords Service. Then, you should suggest your object language and country. This is all-important for you would not need your products advertised in countries where your merchandise or service can’t be sold. Afterwards, you should instantly create an ad group. This calls for designing the ad, choosing keywords and determining highest cost per click that you are willing to spend and defining bid amounts. The most important step in producing a successful Adwords campaign is choosing an effective title tag that will catch the attention of your objective audience. The title tag, generally a short phrase, is the most important part of your Adwords campaign so make sure that it is attractive and catchy. You should describe the website clearly and precisely. The most effective advertising brings a clear message to the target audience. With a clear message, you will be attracting qualified leads, which can eventually become a sale. Therefore, the importance by choosing the right keywords can’t be overstressed.

There are keyword variations you’ll be able to adapt to reach more prospects. Applying these varieties, misspellings and derivatives can help gain the chance of your ads being served. Broad match is targeting keywords in a loosely defined manner. Here, the ads appear based on the keywords that have been queried by other users as opposed to exact match, which calls for the keyword to match the query exactly. Meanwhile, a keyword phrase set to phrase match will only appear when the exact phrase is searched on. A negative keyword is helpful in filtering unrelated pages.

After you have chose on what title tag to use in your ad, you must now define a budget in order to maximize exposure. Google Adwords recommend a daily budget for each campaign. However, you should determine a budget that is suitable and affordable. You should as well decide the maximum CPC. Google will propose a recommended cost per click, but you do not have to stick with this. Usually, a number one position is not ideal as it can also attract unwanted traffic and useless clicks. A number two position is more preferred as it can filter useless clicks and provide traffic with a higher conversion rate.

Google Adwords is an excellent strategy and tool in establishing your site maximum exposure. However, Google Adwords shouldn’t be your sole advertising campaign. It will definitely help you find the essential, highly targeted traffic you need.

Commission Junction is a one of three ValueClick companies. Together they provide complete Internet marketing solutions to its clients and partners. Commission Junction’s expertise lies in forging strategic relationships between publishers and advertisers; thereby creating an open marketplace low risk and high reward for its clients.

Commission Junction is one of the largest affiliate programs on the Internet today with over three hundred advertisers in the UK, France, and Germany alone and over 1,700 merchants and growing daily. Their partners and clients include leading big name Internet and traditional companies such as Air France, Ebay, Microsoft, Palm, Razorfish, Thomas Cook, and Yahoo. Commission Junction ranks as one of the largest ad networks in the world.

Program Details and Benefits:

Income and commissions are generated by what we call “click through”s. This means that the publisher makes money every time the ad is seen or clicked by a person. The commission rate is often set in batches, for example, every 1,000 clicks, etc.

How does it work? Once upon a time we had a simple term for it. We called it “banner swap”. Another was direct ad placement. Publishers would include ads or links to advertisers in the content of their website (oftentimes in the form of banners). This helps advertisers in building their brand, drive up their sales, and decrease the acquisition cost of customers.

There are several reasons why Commission Junction is considered one of the best affiliate programs on the Internet today.

1) Commission Junction has a very competitive pricing scheme for their merchants

They pay out commissions to their members quickly and on time

They constantly look for ways to improve their services by increasing the benefits of their clients (or affiliates) and encourage them to help in expanding the Commission Junction network.

Commission Junction employs traditional affiliate commission models such as “pay per click”, “pay per lead” and “pay per sale”.

Commission Junction’s affiliate program offers a variety of benefits to its affiliates. The first is the two tier commission plan.

1) An affiliate can earn a referral commission ($2 up-front) by encouraging other webmasters or companies into joining the Commission Junction network (assuming they are not yet members of the Commission Junction network) once they sign up. For example, if ten (10) people click through from your site and all of them sign up. That means that the affiliate automatically earns twenty dollars ($20) in referrals.

2) An affiliate can earn a five percent (5%) commission on all commissions generated by their referrals. This only applies to new accounts, and not existing members of Commission Junction. For example, if all ten become active members and each one generates twenty dollars ($20) in commissions each month, then the first tier affiliate will earn an additional ten dollars ($10) monthly income. This translates into an annual income of around one hundred twenty dollars ($120) — all from referrals!

Second, commissions are pooled together in one check paid directly by Commission Junction, on a monthly basis, not by the merchants. There is no set minimum commission per merchant. This means that if you earn five dollars ($5) each from ten merchants in a single month, Commission Junction will remit fifty dollars ($50) to you immediately. Also, Commission Junction offers a centralized online commission report for all its merchant programs.

Another benefit that makes Commission Junction so attractive to merchants and publishers is that they also offer their merchants the same two tiered program they offer their affiliates. This means that all merchants are also entitled to the five percent (5%) second tier commissions.

Commission Junction also offers a variety of affiliate programs that you can promote on your site. Aside from the big name companies, Commission Junction has attracted the attention of many smaller merchants that are highly targeted and are focused on a particular niche. This helps in targeting your site as well and will increase the opportunities of finding a merchant appropriate for your target audience.

Visitor Feedback:

I’ve read several comments about Commission Junction on the Internet from forums and review sites and there seems to be mixed feedback, depending on whether you are a merchant or an affiliate.

Merchants have given glowing reports all around. According to the merchants, Commission Junction offers them a well-designed and well-implemented solution at a reasonable price. From the affiliates, though, there have been a few glowing reports and quite a few not so desirable ones. Here are some comments posted:

· (February 25, 2003) Hardly makes you any money even if you try hard. They used to be a good and reliable bunch, but since they’ve left the pay per click system, they’ve gone downhill in many respects. When I requested payment, next thing I knew was that they terminated my account, accusing me of cheating! This was supposedly detected by their infallible anti-cheating software… I subsequently emailed them several time asking for an explanation, and they never replied once! What can you do! I’d say skip them if you’re looking for a company with integrity. There are many around, like Tradedoubler, Fastclick and Focusin.

· (August 23, 2001)I could spend all day on their site trying to figure out which programs to choose from the thousands on offer. Don’t make much money from them despite the programs looking good.

· (February 4, 2004 – from a 2-year Commission Junction member) Commission Junction offer a fantastic business opportunity from people working from home (who have a website) wanting to earn an extra income brilliant companies on offer easy to join and add links to – Their payment structure is second to none – I now receive a guaranteed monthly check which is always more every month!

· (April 16, 2004) Commission Junction seemed to be good, but I have just recently requested payment and found my account has been put on payment review for 30 days and then if they think I have increased clicks they will terminate my account. This is very annoying and I don’t think I’m the only one who has had this problem. My advice would be to look elsewhere or deal directly with the companies of which you want to become an affiliate.

· (October 18, 2005) Commission Junction interface is hard to navigate, keeps crashing. Stay well clear.

As you can see the comments are mixed. In the early stages of Commission Junction’s history there were reports of undelivered commissions and inaccurate tracking. On the up side, the last negative comment I’ve read was the one listed above (October 18, 2005). I assume this means that Commission Junction has ironed out their bugs and has definitely moved forward and been able to supply its merchant partners and affiliates with the quality service they promised. With nine months of glowing reviews, I think it is safe to recommend Commission Junction to merchants and publishers all over the net.

The best way to add Clickbank, Amazon, eBay and Google Adsense to a web site. It is Common Sense Search. Just type your search term in the search box and hundreds, perhaps thousands of relevant results will be returned form search engines all over the web. Google, Amazon, ClickBank, even eBay auctions. It is really a handy site. It’s a great way to add relevant content to your site, and give visitors a reason to come back time and again to find resources that they need.

You can customize the appearance if you like, that is up to you. You can add your own logo by just uploading your gif, jpeg or psd file to the images directory or you can use the included images. I think the basic layout is quite clean, simple and easy to navigate, so for the most part, I haven’t changed anything.

As nice as the results look, you would think it would take days, perhaps hours of programming.  Well that is not the case. Installing the search on any number of sites is as easy as 1 2 3. You just enter your Amazon, Clickbank, Google Adsense and eBay affiliate codes in a simple text file, upload a few files to your site, change the permission on one directory to 777, and you are ready to offer your vistors an incredibly rich search experience.

This script is a great value, take a look and see if it’s right for your web site. Visit my website’s blog , cheapesywebhosting.info and you can see the script in action

Every Internet marketers has a  dream to become what is classed in the industry as a Super Affiliate. To be classed as one, you need to have an enormous downline the size of Texas. I just thought I’d use that for illustration purposes because you do need quite a large base of affiliates underneath you.

If you have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about, let me explain. An affiliate is someone that sells or promotes another persons website or product and gets paid a commission for every sale he or she makes. Not only that but for every person that signs up underneath them in the affiliate program, they also get a percentage of whatever the next person makes and so on and so forth right down to lets just say 10 levels deep. What that means is if I sign 2 people up and they each get 2 people that means by the tenth level I will have 1024 people in my downline. Quite powerful stuff isn’t it. So to become a Super Affiliate you need to be good at one thing, Internet Marketing. Now for those of you who are new to this game Internet Marketing is BIG business and I mean BIG. HUGE money. Billions are spent each year on this subject and believe me when i tell you, you can make an absolute fortune doing it.

Internet Marketing?? Thats for people who know what they’re doing right? I’m just a regular Joe who has no idea about any of this stuff. How can I manage to profit from this lucrative industry??

One part of becoming extreme affiliate champion is to create a downline. Not just any downline, we want a good solid base of people who have the same idea as you, and thats to make money and lots of it. In order to accomplish this, you need to to train the people underneath you to do exactly the same thing as you, using exactly the same methods as you. If you can imagine for a minute you have a base of 100 people. Now those 100 people you have are going to use the exact same methods you used to get your initial 100 people. Can I ask you a question?? What is 100 x 100?? Thats right 10000. I think I’ll just say that again shall I, TEN THOUSAND. Just let that sink in for a minute. We haven’t even gotten down to the 3rd 4th or 5th levels yet. You can imagine how big your downline will get using this method.

This is in an ideal world and everything is good in theory, but in real life things never pan out this way. You’ll get people that will sign up then never do anything lose interest and quit. This my friend is something we can’t control. A lot of people that join up to affiliate programs quit because they realize there’s more to it than they first thought, lose interest or after all there efforts aren’t making any money so they quit. To combat this you need to have an established system in place that walks your new affiliates through each step of your program and answers every question they might have. Remember you are the Master here, and you have students that are eager to learn the ways of an Experienced Internet Marketer.

By now your probably thinking, you’ve lost me. Now I won’t lie to you, there are some things you will need to sign up for and they do cost money but as we all know you need to spend money to make money. This system once set up funds itself and puts money in your back pocket from day one. You can set this system up on auto pilot and it will continuously pay you each and every month. This isn’t some pie in the sky operation, this is a proven system that will take average people and turn them into millionaires. The stuff you will learn will make you a fortune. All you need to do from here is listen to the audio message on the site and really pay attention to what they’re saying. These guys are the reason I’m in the position I’m in now.

affiliate program gloosary at a glance

Affiliate Marketing is a concept with it’s own terms. you’ll have to know what the middlemen and affiliate program pitches mean when they use them, otherwise it will strike you as a bunch of gibberish. For those of you with some experience already in this matter, these terms are for the beginners.

Affiliate Link: This is how the company knows who to pay. These are the hypertext links given to you by the affiliate program that differentiates you from generic traffic at large. Unless you send someone through an affiliate link, you don’t get paid.

Ad Copy: A written sales pitch, also known simply as ‘copy’. Most follow the AIDA form (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) and examples can be seen on any site that’s selling something.

Affiliate Program: An agreement with a given company that has this sort of program to advertise and promote their products in exchange for payment, usually as a commission per sale. You do this at your own expense, although the programs themselves are free to join. I have heard of those that require payment to join, but I strongly recommend against them, as there are plenty of good programs you can join for free.

Commission: This is how you get paid by all affiliate marketing programs. It’s not a salary or a fee, and taxes are not deducted and thus your problem to track. Commissions are usually expressed in percent, although some are given in dollars per sale.

Creative: The collective reference given by some programs to the sum total of all their advertising stuff, like ad gif’s, testimonials, product photos, and copy text.

Conversion: The percentage of people you send to an affiliate site that buy. 1% is the industry average. Getting conversions is the name of the game in affiliate marketing.

Pay Per Click: You get paid anytime someone clicks on a link from your site. The biggest example of a program that does this is Google AdSense, which gives you Pay Per Click ads to put your site and pays you every time someone clicks on it. Miva ARX and Yahoo! also have ad programs that work this way.

Pay Per Lead: This one is not common but very handy. When you send someone to a site and they sign up for a free trial, e-mail list or sales call, it’s called a lead. Some companies pay you to give them leads, which is good for you, because you are getting paid to give a potential customer something for free.

Pay Per Sale: The most common ways to get paid in affiliate programs. When you send someone to a site and they buy a product, eBook, download, or membership, you get paid a percentage of the gross on it.

Two-Tier Program: An affiliate program that pays you for your sales and those of anyone you recruit. For all intents and purposes, if you recruit and train your second tier, they will make you money.

Super Affiliate: An affiliate marketer in the top 5% of all affilate marketers. These are the ones that make 80% of all the commissions in affiliate marketing and the aspiration of all affiliate marketers looking to get rich doing this.

Some programs are also multi-tier, which means you get paid on downline several tiers beneath you or more.

These will get you started with your affiliate marketing understanding.

Most person has to be exposed to a product seven times before he makes a decision to buy. What does that mean to you as an affiliate marketer? You need to be able to get the product you are offering in front of your visitors repeatedly.

There is a best ways to do this. This  is by getting the visitors of your website to sign up for a newsletter.

By grabbing their email address and getting them on your newsletter list, you can keep bringing them back to your site. You will also be able to repeat your offer several times in your newsletter, and if you can’t get them to buy the first product, you move on to something else. Sooner or later they will start buying and you will get your commission from the sale.

Newsletter is also a tool to build a relationship. Consider about it, who are you more likely to buy from? A complete stranger or someone that has already provided you with great content on the subject you are interested in. You’d probably buy from someone that has given you great information already.

To turn them into customers, allow them to get to know you, show them that you know what you are doing and provide them with good content in your newsletter. Then offer them your affiliate product.

Big dissaster i see new affiliate marketers make when it comes to newsletters, is to try to use their personal email client (like Microsoft Outlook) to run a newsletter. It is very time consuming to manually add and remove subscribers from your list. You also run the risk of being shut down by your webhost if you send to many emails at once.

Make use an autoreponder service like aweber right from the beginning. You will be able to create signup forms for your website. Adding and removing of subscribers is done automatically, and you can schedule messages to go out at a certain date and time.

You can use the actual autoresponder feature to your advantage by creating a series of newsletters that are not time sensitive. Each new subscriber will receive the newsletter editions you have written in sequence starting with message 1. All you have to do is add a new message each week, or month. Of course you can also send time sensitive messages – like a holiday promotion – to your entire list right away.

To encourage visitors to your site to subscribe to the newsletter, add a signup form on each page of your site. It also helps to offer them something free for subscribing. Create a report, or even an ebook related to the topic of your newsletter and use the autoreponder feature to automatically send it to them when they sign up.

Try to stay in touch with your subscriber list at least once per month; preferably twice per month or even weekly. You could see the first sales coming in within a few weeks. I encourage you to give it a try. Newsletters are one of the most powerful affiliate tools and they are easy to implement.
